Hey hey everyone! Sorry I havent been in touch in a while..life has been hectic..as usual.. I know I know you always hear me say that but to be honest..it is the truth!

I have been really rushing around with work and the kids and everything else in between that I have not had time to sleep let alone read or do anything for my self..

Well I have been doing something for my self the past couple of weeks which is to wake up a bit earlier and work out at home for about a half hour and I am LOVING it! I have never, ever, worked out in the past, I have never gone to the gym and I used to hate exercising..but I have decided that I want to tone up and I am already seeing results! I am so very chuffed guys!!

Hi y'all! Happy September! I could also say happy beginning of the fall but for us in Cyprus its still so very hot that the fall seems to be far far away..
This week I finished reading the The wife before me written by Laura Elliot which Netgalley and Bookouture sent to me to read for an honest review.
This book was amazing and it gets 4 1/2 stars from me!
For me it was the type of book that made me feel that I couldn't read through the words quick enough cos I wanted to find out what happens next!

Book Review: Seabon by Lena North 4*

I have just finished reading ‘Seaborn’ written by Lena North. Firstly let me thank Netgalley that sent me a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Today is actually the publishing date of ‘Seaborn’ and I am very excited that I have just finished reading it on time!

Seaborn was was 4* book for me. It had me laughing and awing and oohing and making all sort of sort of sounds that a good book should make you do!

The book is about Charlie, a young woman that grew up in an unstable environment and who ended up being in an abusive relationship which she had to get away

Book Review Progress: Seanborn, by Lena North

So...I have read almost half of the book and I must say that it is turning out to be a really sweet book. From the romantic point of view you can see where its heading right from the get go..but thats ok really.

However from the paranormal side I am not quite sure as to where the author is taking it and I love it! I love how I have to like try to think ahead and try to find where it is actually going to go.

It also has its funny moments..I ve caught my self smiling a lot of times while reading.

I look forward to reading more and posting again about this book to keep you in the loop.

Take care

Book Review: The Kingmaker (Powerplay #2) by Selena Laurence

Hi all!

Thought I would also add a few reviews of books I read a while back.

So here comes the first one. Its about The Kingmaker...

This book is a political romantic novel about Derek whose job is to help politicians rise up the ladder and even run for presidents!  His current job is to actually help the politician become the president!!! But when he meets London, an escort that his client is fooling around with, his whole world collides.

London is a beautiful young woman who, due to life's circumstances, had to become an escort..she doesn't like it but it offers her a lavish life style. When she meets Derek she is not sure if she will be able to open up to him even though she really wants to.

Currently Reading: Seaborn by Lena North, a NetGalley review

Ever since I have started reviewing books I had my heart set to being granted a review from NetGalley or Edelweiss Plus.

Well, let me tell you that it is very disappointing when your requests for reviews are denied! These publishers set really really really high standards for their reviewers, and being a new kid on the block hasn't been helping my approval ratings.

So you can imagine the smile that I had planted on my face when I was granted my first ever NetGalley review!!!!! I am well chuffed!!

Book Review: Deadly Blind by Siobháin Bunni

I was given this book as an ARC for an honest review.

Putting aside my crazy busy schedule and the fact that I barely have any time to read I loved reading this book.

This book is about a detective that has recently been transferred to a new post and is immediately dragged into a new case. Her boss is a pain in the you know what and the way her case is developing just doesn't leave her convinced..it just doesn't seem right.. Her partner said to her 'Sometimes it is just that easy..' and boy was he wrong!

Short Story Review: Tomorrow Never Comes by Timothy Lasiter

I was fortunate enough to be given a copy of this short story to read.

It was a first for me, reading a short story..

I have to admit that it was very good and I liked that you can easily read it all in one sitting (you know witth our busy schedules and all).

This story had a different vibe to it! Not your usual short and sweet story I suppose. Besides its 'shortness' it had its twists and turns that made me gasp. Something that I love in a book!

I will surely keep an eye out for this author! I am very curious to see what he has up his sleeve.

Holiday loading..slowly

Holidays.. a word that we all grasp upon to escape our busy lives.

So… I, and I am sure all of you, really need a vacation. Some time  to relax and not to think as much. With  time to dive in a book without being distracted by the daily hubble -bubble . Oh, well that might be a little bit difficult with my babies (not so much babies any more - my daughter is almost 11 and my son almost 5!) and the  mummy look at this and mum come see that!!

Still  not having to rush around every day with the daily routine stuff is a much anticipated change!

Its been so long...

Hi all!

So I know I haven't been posting for a few weeks now..life has been hectic.

With working full time and being a full time mummy as well..well you know how it is..😅

So I am currently reading 'Deadly Blind' which was written by Siobháin Bunni (cover of the book below).

Unfortunately I only manage to steal some time for my guilty pleasure every weekend and usually my children, but especially my youngest -my son-who will soon be 5 (OMG!!!), have other plans.

Book Review: Give It Back by Danielle Esplin

Give It BackGive It Back by Danielle Esplin
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was more of a dark read for me but it was so worth it. I loved how the author kept changing the person giving us the story and the point in time in each chapter. This sort of narration, personally, keeps me alert and on the edge. The book keeps you guessing till almost the end.

Book Review: Summer with the Soldier, Amy Lamont

Summer with the Soldier (Holiday Encounters #4)Summer with the Soldier by Amy Lamont
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

So, this was an OK read. You could totally feel the connection between Logan and Jade however I do believe that the ending was a bit predictable..you could see it coming.
Overall through it was a great read and kept you going.
